My Kindergarten students created beautiful textured sunflowers in the style of Vincent Van Gogh while first grade created primary colored animals in the style of Peit Mondrain. I forgot to take my camera both art days so unfortunately I do not have any photos to include. However, below are some pictures I did manage to take of the 3rd-6th art work.

Color Wheel Twist

September’s art lesson introduced the color wheel to first through sixth graders. Kindergartens received a lesson on primary colors. Below are a few snap shots of fourth and fifth grade work. The fourth graders used oil pastels to create and disquise their color wheel while my fifth graders used watercolors to design their own color wheels.
